#1OA / Jack Hughes, come on down; Get well soon Larks. Larks/Bert/Nyquist/Hronek/Cholo/Green & to a lesser degree Mantha/AA/Frans/Howard/DDK make this team more watchable/palatable. Withouot Larks, Bert, Hronek, that's 3 of the top 6 who help drive the bus. I hope they run 7 Dmen til he's back.

If Holland doesn't manage to swing a trade I guarantee he'll say getting Larkin back is our trade deadline acquisition.
And if Holland trade Nyquist for 4 first round picks, you'd still find a way to be displeased. Somewhat in the same way where you can't not bash Holland in a thread that has nothing to do with trades or Holland...

What a fresh joke...

It also makes no sense. We aren't trading for players to bolster our playoff run, which is what was happening when those type of comments were made.

Just a true fact.

Larkin with Nyquist, goals 23-23 = 0 (50.0%)
Larkin without Nyquist, goals 8-10 = -2 (44.4%)
Nyquist without Larkin, goals 16-11 = +5 (59.3%)
Team without either, goals 56-61 = -5 (47.9%)

Line Stats - Natural Stat Trick

Nyquist without Larkin - CF% 43.83, FF% 40.98 SCF% 44.21,HDCF% 37.61,PDO 1.055
Nyquist with Larkin - CF% 56.78, FF% 55.89, SCF% 57.21,HDCF % 55.91,PDO 0.981

yeah looks super sustainable

Even just watching them its so obvious how well they play together. The stats agree and show that they control play while on the ice.

I can say that <Website X> is better at predicting the weather than <Website Y>. That certainly doesn't mean that I never consider any sources or factors besides <Website X>.

If scoring is literally the only thing that counts about a player, then why is Glendening on the team? Or Ehn? Or De La Rose? Or Helm or Abdelkader?

There's nothing wrong with putting scoring at the top of the list. But that doesn't completely erase the rest of the list.

Scoring and preventing scoring.

Pretty much that's hockey in a nutshell.

Do I really have to discuss about this?
