Yep. Non elite player gets $260 mill over 5 years. If an nhl player does 2 max term deals to get 19 years in the nhl, then subtract the $10 mill max they can earn on elc with bonuses that’s still $250 mill over 16 years which is an average of $15.6 mill per season. Just to put this contract into perspective for nhlers.
