And, to Hawks fans, sorry Morrison is simply a contract-slot dump. The Kings inexplicably signed him after his junior career was over due to a single smashing post-season, but he never showed anything at all as a pro and was relegated to the ECHL.

He's fine, he's just not worth his contract. Hawks are basically just saving themselves a buyout.

Was Maatta THAT bad? I didn't think he was just a pure contract dump. At least not after the playoffs. But that's obviously what he was.

I would think there are a fair number of players in that "iffy" category, though. Could add up to a pretty interesting off-season!
