Confirmed Trade: [LAK/BUF] Erik Portillo for 2023 3rd round pick

Portillo has a chance to be a great goalie. Levi is also doing incredibly well in the playoffs which is a saving grace for us in this situation.

Between UPL/Levi/Portillo, the Sabres actually had a decent haul of young prospects. Would be interesting if all three turn out to be solid pros

I had completely forgot about him being acquired from Buffalo originally and thought this trade just happened. Wondering why a team with 0 goaltending depth would trade one away to a team that has a few young guys.
