Longer than any goal-less streak in Ovechkin's history, and it took Ovechkin until 2017 just to hit 10 games! Laine's not even 21 yet, so it's only going to get better from here, expect to see droughts of 15, maybe even 20 games in future seasons as he keeps developing. With the right linemates I don't even think it's out of the realm of possibility to see 40 or 41 games, and that's half a season!

Not really. He didn’t score during the entirety of the last massive thread talking about he’s terrible. Hasn’t scored since then either. He might not even crack 30 this year.

He looks bad. Not skating as much as he should. If he’s not scoring, his poor defensive play/turnovers makes him a big liability. His last game, he got under 11 minutes TOI.

He started the season slow too and then had that massive month in November. Very streaky, but this dry spell is pretty bad.
