Interesting how Der Spiegel is reliable for some stories but apparently not for others. Anyway, pretty clear there was tax evasion. Seems to be extensive (also curious how Ronaldo, who has been in the press numerous times in recent years for the same thing, gets a pass from some) with a lot of La Liga/former La Liga players. My guess is it's players all over the game and in multiple countries, but the Spanish authorities are aggressively going after the money. As for Messi, his father and the club, they should be all be punished. What that looks like I don't know, but what it should look like is a lot of money above and beyond being paid in restitution.
Frenkie starting in a central role for the first time in Barcelona. He'll have Rakitic and Roberto on his sides.
He is returing from injury. Would think he will be out there starting second half Valverde needs his savior.
Valverde sucks. Quite honestly one of the worst coaches out there. A hilarious tactician and you can just tell he has no authority by watching him interact with his players. Roberto at midfield is comical. He adds nothing there. Rakitic is past his prime, yet starts over Arthur who is coming of a marvelous performance. I also realize Fati is still ridiculously young, but he's one of few who created much of anything these past games and yet is benched. Griezmann is a poor fit. Doesn't help that Messi and Alba are out injured, but he still has the material to dominate teams such as Grenada.
Agreed with everything except the griezmann bit, just needs a good coach to find the proper position for him. Valverde sucks.
Suarez with an absolute shocker of a game, not sure if it's fitness related or him still adjusting after coming off the injury, but what a letdown of a performance. Not to mention the easy misplayed balls from Roberto, Firpo, and then Vidal throughout the game. First thing's first, Valverde needs to go.
I'm done with this **** That's 4 road games this season. 2D, 2L, should be 3L if Dortmund would have finished one of their many chances. Went scoreless in 3 of those games. Barely created anything at all in those games. Tonight and at Osasuna was some of the worst football I've seen since the dark days of the Gaspart era.
Worst start to the season since 94/95. Valverde needs to go. Should of been let go right after the game against liverpool. It's ****ing baffling that this guy still has a job.
