There's a reason why he announced his retirement. He knows his career's in a bad way. I don't see how that could leave any room for any debate, when it came right from the horse's mouth.

If I'm LA, I'd try to find a way to rest him a little bit here and there. Maybe one game a week, or maybe a full week every month, something like that. It only took him a few games to get going, so that's good news wrt the question of rust going into the playoffs.
