Thing is, I was ironic when I wrote that but I wouldn't rule out that I was right.
A report that 1-2 teams are kicking tires at least 90% comes from the selling team. None of the teams interested want it to be known, and the agents don't get involved at that stage at least. So it does seem obvious that Calgary want to gauge the interest a bit.
Then the last report from Kypper of course comes from Calgary. Obviously the interest wasn't what they hoped for.
And its a problematic market out there. Very few teams have cap space. Hamilton is struggling, right? 14 minutes the other night. And he is locked up at a very high rate for a long time.
