Another back end of career innings eater from the dollar store.

They really have to trade for someone or somehow sign Yamamoto. I don't think Sonny Gray or a Jordan Montgomery reunion move the needle at all. Unless you're going for 83 wins and maybe a 6 seed.

Haven't heard them mentioned for Snell at all.

Right now the rotation is:

Mikolas
Matz
Lynn
Gibson
Liberatore/Rom/Thompson

I know another pitcher will be acquired (how good of one we'll see), but still.


The Cardinals used to give me every reason to trust them, the past few years have made me lose that trust. Things have gotten stale and other teams have lapped them. It's like when the Wings couldn't find Zetterberg's and Datsyuk's at the end of the draft anymore and just tried to cling to relevancy until the bottom fell out and Yzerman had to come in and start a real rebuild.

Can't wait til they trade Carlson for some mediocre pitcher and he finally maximizes his potential and we have to hear about him the way we hear about Arozarena, Alcantara, Gallen, Garcia, etc.
