Its been discussed in the trade rumours thread. Majority seem to be happy with it if the cap hit is in the 1M or slightly more range. We've been scratching our heads for the past decade wondering why he was traded in the first place. Good 4C option for this team.

Seems like ages ago he came through our system. I share the same sentiment if the price is right; he is a bigger body and a right shot. Quick glance at his stats has him at 10 goals or more in half of his seasons in the NHL.

I know we drafted and developed him 15 years ago, and mismanaged crap and let him walk.

But he's an old guy who's played his best hockey already.


Lets aim for younger guys who can outperform their contracts.

Bringing in a vet 4c is almost always a good idea and is what most good teams have there to help with the newer guys.

We need some veteran leadership and pk ability in our bottom 6. If we can get him for around 1.5-1.8 mill I'll be happy.

Good veteran for 4th line center. Lets Khaira play wing where he is much more effective IMO.
