Kurtis Foster or Dennis Wideman???

From what I saw:

Foster has an incredible shot from the point, but that's it for his offensive talent... He will be a very good defensemen on the powerplay however...

I do not know a lot about Wideman, but I think he is a better playmaker than Foster.

Wideman is younger and has higher ceilings, so he is my choice.

Wideman does a number of things pretty well including having a really good shot from the point. He is a smart player and his contributions come from thinking the game well primarilly. This isn't to say he's without skill. He's a good skater, heady passer esp. as a playmaker from the point on the power play, really knows when to pinch as well. He has apparently a really even temperment that Pleau and Jarmo really like. I'd say he's a sure bet to stick among the Blues top 5 for awhile to come.
