Who knows? Prime OV had those 3 big years and then fell off for a bit.
This is gonna be kucherovs third top 5 scoring finish in a row. Who knows what if he keeps like this for another 4-5 years? He’s only 25

Definitely possible, but "only 25" doesn't mean much, because chances are, he is pretty close (or at) his very best right now, as most superstar players have their best years by 22-24 statistically. Who knows.

Either way, Ovi had those 3 straight years of 1st in points and goals per game. Kucherov can have as many top 5 finishes as he wants, but he's been steady declining in his goal production, and is still nowhere close to a lock to being the best point producer year after year with the rest of the young players in the league today.

Seems like people are really selling Ovi short just because someone new is trending towards 3 straight top-5 point finishes, and some lack-luster goal finishes.
