This is likely kanes second best year. 15/16 was just something else entirely. He also had his 26 game point streak that year too.

That 2016 season from Kane was insane, Especially considering he was nearly 20 points up on Benn who came in second. Kuch is on pace to have more points this year but scoring is way up and his lead isn't nearly as large as Kanes was

They are obviously not, however it is a point of comparison. Kane is 2nd in points and goals. Kucherov is 1st in points and 24th in goals. Take it how you want it.

86% of Kucherov's even strength minutes this season he has played with one of Point or Stamkos. Kane has spent more time 5v5 with Strome and/or Anisimov than he has with Toews or Debrincat. The fact that he's producing like he is while putting his whole line on his back more than half the time on the ice is ridiculous.

even if he finishes a couple points behind Kucherov this season, it's Kane 100%.
