Kucherov now isn’t even better than past peak Kane lol
And the season before that and the season before that Kane was better. It’s a toss up but I’ll go with the more proven player. Hard to say no to a hart and smythe winnerWhat makes you say that? He's outscoring him and Kane gets a good amount more ice time. Kane does have worse to work with. Kucherov was definitely better last season.
This is likely kanes second best year. 15/16 was just something else entirely. He also had his 26 game point streak that year too.18 goals and 22 assists in his last ""18 games""
And people are trying to tell me in this thread Kane still isnt in his peak
GTFOH, sorry I ain't buying it.
Seguin is pretty bad in the playoffs so.... sure. You're basically hoping he shows up in the lone 1 goal loss the Stars had that series. You don''t really think the Blues would have won if Seguin had played, do you?
Kucherov is the better player.
Kane peaked at 106 points a couple seasons ago. Incredibly impressive season.
However, Kucherov is on pace for 126 points this year. A number Kane has not and will not likely ever approached. They're both skill guys who put up points. The proof is in the pudding.
106 pts for Kane in that low scoring season is more impressive than 120 pts this season
Yeah no. 15-16 Kane>18-19 kucherovKucherov is the better player.

Also today Kane lost his tied lead in the NHL in points.Today Kane tied Kucherov for NHL lead in pts
They are obviously not, however it is a point of comparison. Kane is 2nd in points and goals. Kucherov is 1st in points and 24th in goals. Take it how you want it.Alot of this 9 goals ahead business like somehow goals are worth more than assists.
