Hey guys, sorry I haven't really been around much lately, been pretty busy with work and whatnot. Hale the Villain has sent me an updated draft board, I will try my best to get everything updated tonight when I get home from work.

Since the main draft is now done we have to decide on how we are going to determine the order of the entry draft. I have thought of 2 different ways, the first being a voting style similar to IR's GM games, the other being the same way NYSportsFan ran his. Let me know what you guys would rather prefer, and I'll go with the majority.

It should also be noted (if you don't know) that I will be honouring real life contracts for any unsigned UFA's/RFA's.

Thanks for your patience and cooperation, guys.

I'm down for either the voting (like Ir4's) or the auto-generated (like NYSportsFan's) -- whichever gives me the best odds of having a bad 1st rounder but a great 2nd rounder. ;)

I think at this point (since trades for entry picks were allowed to occur) that voting is the only fair way to do it.

I know in negotiations many people rated my entry pick very lowly since my roster was going to be one of the top 5 in the league... so doing auto-generated now will annoy me because I may have missed out in previous trades.

How exactly did it happen in IR's GM game? Was it just voting for the team? If so, that's what I would like to do as well.

The format in my GM games required 10-15 people to send in their interpretations of how the standings should be. Each position had a point value (1st = 15, 2nd = 14, 3rd = 13, etc). Then an assigned person (or myself) would add the points together from everyone's votes. Takes a bit of time but is a good way to average out people's rankings.

Wasn't this how you did it in yours and HC's game? Either way, I like that way the best.

Yes we did the same in Agent's and OG89's drafts. It's easy and effective.

We are going to do a roll call first right?

Yeah, we really need to find out who's still in the game at this point. There are still a lot of empty spots in the last handful of rounds in the draft. Roll call to get the draft finished and then we can start the process for the entry draft.

This is a list of missed picks in accordance with the draft board (thanks again Hale the Villain). I will determine how the voting for the Entry Draft will be over the next few days, for now I'd like to take the rest of the week to send out PM's to every GM to make sure that they are still in, and I will send with the PM the amount of missed picks (if any) that there club has. Expect an announcement for the voting method for the Entry Draft to be made Sunday night, with voting beginning sometime on Monday.

Nashville's 23rd was Kyle Wellwood (you actually made that pick for me, haha) and their 26th was traded to SJ in the Mike Richards deal.

:caps didn't miss any picks. I traded:

-my 22 for ANA 21 in a bigger deal
-my 19 + 21 to LA for Hagman + 24

Hansen was my 20th round pick, not 19th.

New Jersey and Minnesota are both available. PM me if you're interested in taking over one of these teams.

I'm gonna have to drop out guys. I wanted to see the draft through, but I won't be able to keep active throughout the school year. It's already killing me

all the best and hopefully someone can make the :canes even better

Commissioner's Announcement

Hey guys, I'm sorry to inform everyone but effective immediately this league is finished. I'd like to apologize to everyone for this, but recently NYSportsFan, Tube Sock (who both had leagues as well) and myself decided to stop running our own leagues in favour of starting up a new league, that will include the best GM's from each of our leagues. Now I know that a lot of people of are going to be pissed off because of all the time you spent on this league, and once again, I apologize. The last few days I have lost some of my best GM's, and it was looking like a select few who were still interested in this league. I just didn't know how much longer this would be able to survive. I apologize once again, and I hope no one holds any grudges.

- Dave
