As if any here, reading my gruff, hard-bitten, puck noir comment entries can't tell, I'm a ... ... tough as nails, "Rub some dirt on it," no quarter asked nor given, "I don't give a @#$% what the score is, we're battling for 60 minutes & EVERY next goal is ours!" hockeyholic but ... Seeing Krugs raise his mitts skyward thanking the PuckGods for the pure joy of bagging one - it IS SO sweet a feeling - kinda melted my grinder heart. I love Krugs, I know Bowman jr calls, Seabrook, "warrior" but #16 in the Indianhead to me is even more so, and just one more piece of evidence - Krugs had gotten LIT UP earlier in the game. An exhibition tilt, nobody'd question him taking the rest of the night off. But clocks like Marcus Kruger's don't tick that way. I love the guy and come hell or high water, really look forward to seeing him skate for the Beloved again. Let's Go HAWKS! PS - Yeah his cap hit stings but in his particular case, one time I'll never find fault w/ Bowman's overpays. Krugs earned them paychecks and good for him, "getting paid."
