He would be in the NHL today had he stayed.
My schadenfreude goes to 11.
He would be in the NHL today had he stayed.
Another reason why I’m ok with him at home in the KHL for this season. Kid will be a solid addition to the Jets and an impact player in his early 20’s. No need to rush him.If KVes was with the Jets this season he would have to protect him in the expansion draft.
Honestly, I think anything else would be more effective than what we have now as a PP unit 2.Is that as effective as having a second powerplay that looks completely different?
Hopefully with such a great pp 1 they won't have to use the 2nd.Honestly, I think anything else would be more effective than what we have now as a PP unit 2.

I'd give Roslovic Little's powerplay spot to keep Little fresh for 5vs 5 and pk.So next year:
PP1
Laine, Scheifele, Wheeler, Connor, Buff
PP2
Ehlers, Little, Vesalainen (for Perreault), Morrissey, Trouba (or Roslovic)
Hmmmm.
Wheeler on PP1 is irreplaceable. You're nuts. Don't touch the Jets #1 PP at all. It is extremely good. For PP I would eventually want to see him on Wheelers spot. That's also Vesalainen's spot and he has a much better shot than Wheeler. So he would be a threat from there and could keep them honest. They would have to pick from a murderers row of shooters. Right now the threats are Laine and Scheifele. Then we could probably have two good PP units if Wheels was quarterbacking the second one.
Now 2g + 2a in 5 KHL games. He's a really good prospect.
Scored a beauty today. First 5-on-5 goal for him in KHL.
Edit:
If he had stayed with the Moose, he'd guaranteed be up with the Jets right now.

You may be right. They sure seemed to want him to be able to take that step. A strong year in the KHL will serve him well.If he had stayed with the Moose, he'd guaranteed be up with the Jets right now.

how so. he would have had 2 years pro hockey if he started this year. he would be exempt. With the expansion draft pushed to 2021, KV in KHL this season helps the Jets.
