It's a shame Stevens doesn't know how to use him to his strengths. He started as the net front man and now is on the right wall instead of utilizing his 1 timer on the left wall.

Well there there was tongue in cheek for sure, but I think he was saying we don't have a coach who knows how actually use him, especially on the PP which he was brought in to upgrade.
Putting Kovy on his off wing or in front of the net is not exactly a recipe for success. As the Kings the 0-11 or 0-12 on the PP to start the year seems to indicate

Kovalchuk looks really good actually. He looked dangerous all game. Unfortunately for him, he's the only King I could say that about. Doughty looked like a whiny overpaid mess for most of the game.
Your team was a cross bar away from being tied after dominating a game and having squat to show for it. Even with the refs handing you PP's.
