Say what you will, Jarmo had a decision to make a couple years ago when he had Anton Forsberg and Joonas Korpasalo. He chose to send Forsberg away. It looks like a good decision.

Korpisalo is good he just needs to work on controlling rebounds. Playing time will help we just need a more reliable backup.

I think we're all on his bandwagon, because we're Blue Jackets fans and want him to succeed because if he succeeds then the team succeeds. "Hard core fans" don't always have to pick and choose who to root for on the team because we don't care who's playing well as long as the team is winning.

Way too early look at goalie stats:

35 goalies have at least 4 starts so far this year.

Carter Hutton (Buf) and Darcy Kuemper (Ariz) are 1 and 2 in save percentage and goals against and are 2 of the 4 goalies with 5 wins. Did anyone see that coming?

Korpisalo is tied for 12th in wins with 3
He is 16th in goals against with 2.60
He is 24th in save percentage with .903

Before the season everyone was hoping for something around league average goal tending. Except for 1 game, I’d say that is what we are getting so far.
