Korpikoski is better than Nokelainen, and IMO will be taken in the 1st round. As for Nokelainen, he could go anywhere from late 1st to the 3rd round.

Why is Korpikoski better than Nokelainen? Nokelainen is better defensively, bigger, more NHL ready--has already played a season in Finnish elite league and has put up better numbers than Korpikoski.

Imo Korpikoski is more talented and have more potential. Nokelainen is bigger and plays more defensively but lacks the stickhandling ability Korpikoski has. True, Nokelainen has played in the SM-Liiga but SaiPa is alot worse than TPS. If you look it this way: TPS is normally a top four team when SaiPa is normally a low four team. There are 13 teams in SM-Liiga.

Has anybody seen both Nokelainen and Korpikoski play? Who is more skilled?

According to McKeens, Redline and THN - Korpikoski.

McKeens says that Nokelainen isnt very entertaining to watch. Scores most of his goals in front of the net while Korpikoski provides offense with his speed and stickhandling.

oh well.... I really have to tell you, stop dreaming. Crosby's so hyped that many people forget to watch him and automaticly think that he's overrated.

It's not impossible that like Malkin, he could close the gap between Brule - Crosby but like you said even if there's some scouts that would prefer Malkin 2004 & Brule 2005, the hype over Ovechkin 2004 & Crosby 2005 are too much powerful to be ignore.

Let's speculate if 1 scout out of XX in the Caps team scouting tell that he REALLY believe MALKIN will be the better of the two in 5-10 years. There's no way they would take the risk even if he's right down the line.
