In the future the Wild could have a line-up with Gaborik, Bouchard, O'Sullivan, Thelen and Burns on D to help Koivu put up some points. Management changes, and the Wild could become a more offensive team.

But it's true, Lemiare's teams usually aren't going to see high point totals.

Down the middle and on the wings, Minnesota looks sharp. There is a slight drop off between 1st/2nd line wingers but I like their future.

Center:
Patrick O'Sullivan
Mikko Koivu
Rickard Wallin
Marc Cavosie
Adam Courchaine
Pierre- Marc Bouchard (also winger!)

Wingers:
Marian Gaborik
Pascal Dupuis
Roman Voloshenko
Stephane Veilleux
Matt Foy
Kyle Wanvig
Julien Sprunger
Peter Olvecky
Mathieu Melanson
Danny Irmen
Mike Erickson

This team I think will be deadly in the near future

Maybe, but all sorts of teams have guys like O'sullivan, Koivu, Voloshenko...etc. As often as not ,those guys turn out to be slugs.

O'Sullivan is definitely not like anyone else. The guy has a lot of talent and a lot of good tangiables.

Koivu and Volo I could see but O'Sullivan I think will be special.

I think Sullivan is the guy most likely to not make it.

One of the big things I was amazed about was Koivu's transition from the Finnish Leagues to the AHL. He seems really adjusted out there and is producing a lot of points. Even if he had a blip from an injury that wasn't entirely his fault.

Honestly,

I don't see anything deadly about this lineup...
They'll probably be in the same situation as they are now in the near future...

I don't see what's amazing about it. He had North American pro player written all over him as early as before he was even drafted.

I agree 100 % Sammy. Sullivan is a dud. Now O'Sullivan, on the other hand, he's gonna be a good one. :)

I think Koivu will be a solid 2nd line quality center, who's contributions will go beyond the score sheet.
