Glad to see Subban get his first win, as well as Ship and Tuch getting their first goals. Hopefully we'll find takers for our lesser defenders as more injuries occur.
Shipachev is a hard guy to communique, and he doesn't speak English, so he's probably in the head coach's doghouse. It's just his $4.5M/year, that forces the management to use him. They probably hoped, he would say good bye and get back to the KHL, but he didn't and now even scored a goal.
I was there and caught up in the arena and everything going on, but I found myself complaining about him more than the opposite. Doesn't mean much though, I'm not advanced enough to analyze players in arena, I'm barely okay doing it while I'm sitting on my couch. How did Merrill do last night?

Got back from the game. As many Bruins jerseys as Knights ones.
In the section we were seated, quite a few Bruins fans. Their chants were loud and coordinated. VGK chants were feeble and sporadic at times.
Tuch looked impressive.
I was impressed by the size of the travel team of Bruins nation. I imagine that many fan clubs will be coming in during the weeks to come.
Hopefully, the VGK fan base will similarly continue to mature and expand.

Both Buffalo and St. Louis got us good return on our season ticket salesSeason tickets definitely aren't owned by casinos, but season ticket holders are dumping tickets and the visitors are picking them up. The article I posted earlier today says we've got a ridiculous walk up too
The good thing about the large STH base we've got right now is that they'll likely stop dumping or the local demand will be higher if they do dump and visitors can probably be mitigated.
We'll see how Buffalo and St. Louis go.
Schmidt has looked good offensively however has made multiple mistakes in his own end. Love when I see him in the offensive zone however.I saw him at the game a few times. Nothing too outrageous, but nothing too spectacular, either.
Despite his size (6'3"), he really didn't have a big impact.
Brad Hunt (5'9"), on the other hand, was all over the ice.
Nate Schmidt appears to be the stud D-man, however. His passes were solid and his puck movement was usually smooth.
Thanks for posting. You are wrong. Do a quick search on the Vegas site and you will see the parameters of how you could buy tickets.Better get used to it, a huge part of the attraction of Vegas for pro sports is that attendance will always be boosted by visiting team fans. A high percentage of the season tickets are surely owned by the casinos with the intent of using them to draw in visitors. It is unlikely they'll ever have the type of home ice advantage that your typical team does.
