The team started 1-4 and 9-12-1 and is now 14-3-3 in the last 20 games.

The team played back-to-back games 8 times this season. It will only happen 3 more times the rest of the season.

Since Nate Schmidt came back the team has played back-to-back 6 times and did it 4 times in December. I wonder if that’s a reason the team looked off before Christmas break.

Since Schmidt came back the team is 3-2-1 in the second game of a back-to-back (and 2-2-1 before the latest win in Arizona which came after the Christmas break) and for the season the team is 3-4-1 in those games (0-2-0 before Schmidt came back).

^That should also make things easier for Subban. Some of his games were on the second night of back-to-backs. Would also be nice for him to start at home for the first time this season.
