Like to thank Otto from London board for posting the passing of long time poster Leeaf83 on Rangersrush. I believe he was 36. Far too young. He had seasons tickets at ice level in section 16.
Thanks for the heads up Bobber !
Otto...thanks!

Condolences to Leeaf83's family. Hard to hear when they are that young.

Congrats to Mike Vukojevic for making Team Canada. As Tim said this is just the first step of many.

And took much older players to task when they infringed on Mario or was bothering one of his fellow players. He's a beast and will only get better and better.

Under 17 camp.....Valade had a solid showing! Nice to see some Rangers back in the thick of things.
"Other OHL forward prospects in Evan Vierling (Flint Firebirds, 2-1–3) and Reid Valade (Kitchener Rangers, 2-1–3) factored prominently for their respective clubs."

Who's even mildly surprised by this?
He played like a seasoned OA in the playoffs and shone when the pressure was the highest!

Not surprised in the least. Would have been shocked if he wasn't named to the team. To be honest, if his development continues to excel at the levels it did last year, an outside shot at an invite to the WJC camp in December is a possibility.

In other news, Jeff Skinner has been traded to Buffalo for Cliff Pu and picks.

TSN ARTICLE:
No. 150, Robert Lynch, C, Drummondville Voltigeurs. Moved up 57 spots: Tough to imagine a player born in Michigan would end up excelling in Drummondville, but you can’t help but notice the year over year improvement here. Due to a broken femur, Lynch was limited to just 37 games in the 2016-17 season and put up just nine points. This season, Lynch averaged exactly a point per game. With his injury and the fact he’s a late-bloomer getting opportunity, you have a prospect that is in his final year of draft eligibility who is more likely to be picked than go unselected and invited to a camp.

He's an OA though so that'll limit the # of teams wanting him. He's also said he wants to stay close to home (from Michigan). Didn't even make the Q until his 3rd eligible season. Was a nothing player until he broke out last year. Is he a new player now or was that just one good year..?

wouldn’t be a bad guy to take a chance on or have as an invite to camp. right now kitchener’s OA situation (assuming goalies don’t count, even though i don’t think mcgonigle sticks) is Gentles and Hall. an OA forward is much needed as Kitchener currently has 12 signed forwards and limited options for suspension/injury
