i really think he needs to work on his accuracy. how anyone including pronman cant put him top 10 prospects not playing in the nhl is beyond me.

What are people expecting?

If you take his last season and turn it into an 82-game season and multiply it by a .70 KHL translation factor, you get 30ish goals.

Is that the neighborhood?

there may be an adjustment period coming to NA but once he is comfortable im thinking consistent 25G minimum. im not planning on it but he has similar khl #s to tarasenko so thats the upside

Still pissed at the Granlund trade. I suspect that KK and Granlund being in the top 6 would've been huge for this team. Guess we have to wait and see what Fiala can do, maybe Boldy in a couple years?

I would hope for a minimum of 20 goals and 45 points in his first year. We'll see after that.

I'll go a little more conservative... 25ish goals, 45-50ish points in his first year, with a significant jump in year 2.

I’m hoping for that, but considering none of our forward prospects ever seem to turn out how we hope, I’d be pretty thrilled with 20g 40p his rookie year and 30g 60p in his prime years.

I'm also not sure who it's a jab at. Are the Wild out of shape? Are all KHL players out of shape? I don't really get this one.

Not directed at him specifically but investigations continue about Team Russia at the Olympics. It's a risk factor.

Will he come over one day and be a good player? I think probably but in the meantime this thread reminds me of the sex ed scene from Monty Python's Meaning of Life.

I think the team is very conservative on how they bring up their young players. Greenway is one of the first players off the top of my head that played almost an entire year as a rookie, but they limited his ice time. Only Aberg, Rask, Foligno, Fehr, and Brown had less time than Greenway.
