I don't see how the NHL can "hold firm on now allowing them to play" when it's literally in the CBA. The first f***ing word is Collective.

Honestly, Ovechkin is kind of a curse on Team Russia, everybody (Malkin, Kuznetsov, Kaprizov etc) sucks, when plays with him.

So I guess, Kaprizov won't play in the playoffs, and then Minnesota loses to Vancouver, and then wins 1OA, and then Kaprizov and Lafreniere play together for the team in 2020-21 season.

Okay? The NHL mentioned they didn't want ringers in the playoffs. Also the contract doesn't matter in this case as Romanov and Sorokin can't play and they would signed similar contracts to Byram.
