Kings on a 4 game win streak, currently longest in the NHL

Kings have outplayed many expectations this season. If it wasnt for their inability to hold leads against Minnesota and the injuries to Roy/Walker, the Kings would be higher in the standings. I full expect them to compete w/ Arizona and Minnesota for the 4th playoff seed.

And the Ontario Reign is stacked with great prospects (if a bit raw and not physically mature).

It's weird to see teenage CHL players like Byfield and Kaliyev playing in the AHL this year. Stupid COVID makes everything weird.

They would do this in the one year that has a lot of good defensemen at the top of the draft. That said, they won 7 in a row last season and still picked 2nd, so there's still hope.

But, yes, they have been a revelation - particularly with how well their vets are playing after really beginning to look washed up. Kings could be contenders again sooner than most think if Kopitar, Doughty, Brown, Carter, and Quick keep up this play while their boatloads of young guys take steps forward.

Come back to me when that four game win streak is against the Blues, Avs and Knights but damn, that's a lot of familiar names on that list. A bit of a resurrection it seems. Dustin Brown's 14 points in 16 games especially looks surreal when everyone thought he was done like six years ago.
