There's no big reason to bump this thread, heh heh, but since a couple of terrific old Soviet hockey games are now available on YouTube (1975 & 1979 WHCs), I added a few of the nicer Troika Petrova goals in those games to post #6 (and at the same time, took away the links that don't work anymore).

Hopefully there'll be more full games in the future, especially from the 1973, 1975 and 1979 WHCs, so even much more highlights could be added.

We all know about the KLM-line, but how good was this line?

Could all 3 of them play in NHL? What where their styles?

Who was the Fetisov, Kasatonov and Tretiak on this line?

They were amazing. Watch '72 Summit Series through Challenge Cup as well as NHL v Soviets teams in 75, 1976, 1977.

Yeah, when they were at their best they were incredible. I loved that line.

The three players were so different from each other, each adding their strengths to the line, producing a beautiful, cohesive whole.

They were hugely effective.
