Next then is Charlie Huddy. He rode shotgun to messier, Anderson and Coffey as did Lowe did for Kurri and Gretz

Holland was passed over in past years, but gets in unanimously after the Looch trade. ;)

Lowe should get his number retired. Guy bled Oilers and still does.

People saying he was just a passenger in the cup wins are full of shit.

Charlie Huddy was a damned good player for his role. The Hall of Fame shouldn't be for really good third pairing defencemen.

Lowe doesn't deserve to make it to the Hall of Fame, don't be ridiculous. Only Oilers fan would ever think this

Guess Kris Russell is going to have to give up his number now.

In my opinion, (and only that...my opinion) I really believe the standards for a HOF should be very, very, strict. On that outlook, 3/4 of the people currently residing in the HOF would be out.

However, according to the standards that have been set for others, Kevin Lowe easily should be included in the HHOF. There is no question in my mind on that.

Say what you will, but Lowe's golfing buddies have alot of pull.
Fact of the matter is, there are far better players than Lowe not in the Hall yet

I've always looked Lowe as one of those players that if he was ever inducted, it would make sense just as much as it would make sense for him not being inducted.

No matter what he should have had his number retired by now reasons beyond just his counting stats, so this at least makes that a slam dunk. Congratulations.

No individual hardware and never among the best at his position.

Hall of Very Good is being generous.

Lowe doesn't deserve it IMO. Number retirement is a different story.

HOF should be reserved for the best of the best. Not guys who got to play with the best.

Playing career aside, Lowe can go suck eggs. He lost me as a fan a long time ago.

    Personally wouldn't select Lowe.

This is all about Iginla though. Complete class act and a phenomenal hockey player and it's a total shame that he never won a cup (somewhere other than Calgary...)

Lowe is an awful choice and only a complete Oilers homer would think otherwise. Sorry.

I guess the Oilers can use it as an excuse to retire his number now.

Iginla gets in and Flames fans are too outraged about Lowe to notice.
