great signing for the franchise. Kessel is not just a good player but a great one.

Now I'm going to sit back and enjoy the media/average fan butthurt...

are you kidding? watch the race at the end of win to be "the one" to make the post game thread. there has to be some cash reward I'm not familiar with

5 PGT in 1 second if we win, and no PGT in 5 minutes if we lose.

Mac and Kyper just going on about how you shouldn't build around him. Pretty much say you shouldn't have given him the contract because you don't have Toews type guy.

Ya I dont get that at all. What precludes the Leafs from finding a franchise type guy by signing Kessel? Because we dont have a Tavares, Toews, or Crosby we should just let Kessel go? Talk about ignorance

Millard had it right.

The problem isn't Kessel but maybe with Dion making more money. Millard said '... then you move Dion to turn him into something you need'

no, Millard is wrong.

You keep both Kessel and Phaneuf. You don't give away your elite players, ever.

Pfft, that's not worth 8M.

Barely worth 5M.
