I like that we'll get to see Rychel. But that was our last call up, if I'm not mistaken. I would have liked to have given Chris Terry a shot. He wasn't good at the NHL level in the past. But the game has changed enough that I'd like to see what he can do in the new NHL.

I'm sure that's what made Terry bad

It's actually changed the dynamic of the game quite a bit, subtly, but significantly. Now that you can handle the puck without someone putting their stick in your hands, you can actually handle the puck. Therefore, players that can't handle the puck stick out more as plugs and players that can are able to create chances when they previously couldn't.

So many people complained last year that watching hockey looked like watching pinball. It's a huge change this year. I haven't heard one complaint about that.

Given Terry's consistent dominance in the AHL this year, I'd like see what he can do at the NHL level.

And goals per game is up significantly:

I would like to see a Carr - Rychel - Deslaurier line. But not sure if Rychel can play center.

No, they have one more.

1 - Valiev
2 - McCarron
3 - Rychel

Lindgren and Lernout don't count because they were both on Emergency Loan.

Good. Let's see Terry. We know what Logan Shaw and Forese can bring, no need to see them any more. Let's see Terry and Rychel for the last 5 games.

Corrected.

Well I seem to be one of the few that likes the Carr Forese Deslaurier best as our 4th line. imo, Froese has been better than DLR, both Shaws, McCarron, etc.. in that role. I know DLR deserves a shot to outplay him, and maybe he will one day. But he hasn't so far.

It's not like Froese has been horrible, but he's definitely not been better than DLR imo. Freezy is a decent call up player when injuries hit.

In regards to Rychel, glad he's going to get a few games.

imo he's been better with Carr and Deslaurier, better play on the forecheck and the boards to create chances. DLR has been playing well with Galchneyuk and Lehkonen. But can he create playing with Carr and Deslaurier?

At least I hope he'll get to play, and I hope they try him on the PP. And I hope he doesn't get desperate like McCarron and tries to fight as much as possible...

He might be good in the slot on the pp where Max was and now Byron is. But he'll probably only be used on the 2nd unit if he does see pp time. Probably take Carr's place.

Shall we sign Corey Locke too? Maybe he can dominate the NHL now that slashing rules are properly enforced :sarcasm:
