The retention sinks this deal. Anyone thinking Neal is worth 6.5+ per year for 4 more years is insane.

With the extra cap hit Holland has again made us worse or a wash at best. Ugh. Holland apparently does not care about the cap. Or is just oblivious to basic math.

The Top 6 actually looks somewhat serviceable now. Not good, but better than before.

You haven't looked at this by all angles. (Buyout potential, expansion draft spots) It is also something that the entire fanbase as well as Lucic himself wanted. Hard to find negative with this one.
