Ken Hodge jr. did score 30 goals and made the all rookie team in 90-91. Alas, the production dropped off to 6 goals the next year and he went down to the AHL.

He eventually went to the expansion Tampa bay team and didnt set the universe on fire there either. Most of his remaining years were spent in the AHL and the IHL, plus some time in Europe (in England, somewhere?)

He never seemed fleet afoot, despite possessing good hand skills. Perhaps he's one of those players who lacked the overall physical gifts needed to get himself into position to use his hockey sense.

Sports history, of course, is loaded with players who caught lightning in a bottle for brief shining moments. It does seem odd, however, when somebody does it for an entire season and then just goes poof.

Yeah he did play in Britain (in Wales), which is somewhat ironic because his Dad was born in Britain. His level of play in Britain wasn't what you'd expect of a 30 goal NHL scorer.
