OT: Ken Daniels working the postseason

Watching the Preds/Canes game and was pleasantly surprised to hear Kenny making the calls. Good for him. Nice to have someone associated with the Red Wings in the playoffs.

Unfortunately he's paired with AJ Mleczko who really needs to work on her timing.

Yeah, a nice surprise! AJ also lacks any excitement in her tone. Sounding like Joe Buck after any big overtime goal. They can’t all be Mickey Redmond.

Really wish Mickey was on the broadcast as well. I bet fans from other teams would not be happy with all the stories being told and not enough of the game being called

Remember the first time he called a Wings game on NBCSN? I think it was against the Flyers. For once we felt the way Hawks and Caps fans feel having their guy in there. It's like, "ain't no way you being objective right now, bruh..."

Can't say I caught him announcing the game but it sure is nice seeing NBCSN bring on someone with actual talent and excitement for broadcasting these games. I tried to watch the Oilers vs Jets game in tandem with the Wild v Knights game and I eventually had to just mute the TV and listen to some music. Very excited for ESPN to bring in a new crew!
