But I would say the US leagues get lower caliber guys, Svechnikov excluded.

Well, if we look at those players, then I think they are of decent MHL caliber. So basically we have one MHL team (total of 23 players migrated to those US leagues last season) moving there in just one year, which is an issue for MHL league's strength.

And in terms of the caliber, even with Svechnikov excluded, there are still Berdin, Zhukov, Prosvetov, Dedov, Murtazin, Knyzhov, Zaitsev, Dzhioshvili, Badanin brothers, Gushchin, Kondratenko - all guys with some junior NT experience - not that bad for a relatively new market (relatively new for our agents I mean). Btw, Iskhakov also was planning to play in the USHL last season, but failed the try-out.
