Keefe's "hunch" on forward lines pays off for Maple Leafs

I know everyone wants to move Ceci for some reason, despite the fact he's played well, but people should maybe stop to think the negative impact that move could have on our PK, which has been very good under Keefe with Ceci being a mainstay on that group. I get he's overpaid, but playing as a third pairing guy with added PK time he's been good in that role, and I don't see a lot of upside to moving him. He's certainly not in the let's just make a move to make a move category. He's been a contributing member of this team.

I feel pretty confident that they won't let Sandin hit game 40 this season. Assuming he stays with the Leafs rest of the way, they'll rest him somewhere to make sure of it.

Sorry what am I missing, what does Sandin hitting game 40 signify?

Pretty much the only valid reason to move Ceci is if we need a lot of cap space for a big move on defense that fills a similar role.

Can't start stripping depth from the defensive core. I don't want considerably injured players playing like last year.

I think they need 1.5mm to bring back Rielly.

Two guys at 7 don't do it.

Engvall's cap hit and Marincin do.
Sandin and Timashov/Gauthier do.

Engvall and Sandin don't need to clear to go down.

I really don't want them to send Engvall down, guess it's likely Sandin then.
