I doubt her security team would have been ok with her at the parade. She can’t even go to a restaurant and celebrate someone’s wedding without a mob outside the place.

Especially with the shooting that happened at the parade.

The odds that KCPD saying "you really shouldn't come" would have changed anything for Taylor Swift is highly unlikely.

She's a pretty busy person (concert in Budapest on Friday), and totally used to avoiding her public exposure. In a documentary she did, there's a scene talking about stalking and her dad says "you don't have to tell me, I'm the one who bought the bulletproof SUVs."
