Remember when Egocock said that Kapanen is not a top 6 forward and he has to know his role? He does what Hyman does but 100% more skilled that Hyman. Now just move Johnson on Tavares/Marner line. One of them need to tell Egocock that they dont want Hyman on that line, just like Matthews told him after the season last year.

Hyman is playing excellent, there's no reason to break that line up.

In lieu of the Kapanen emergence (no doubt helped by linemates and opportunity) Johnsson is still here waiting in the wings and he plays Left Wing. He's struggling right now just like Kappy was last season - but next year when Marleau is not here and Johnsson gets his opportunity don't be shocked when he looks f***ing amazing.

Both Kapanen and Johnsson are two-way guys, too. 200 foot players with heart, hustle and speed (Flashy speed in Kapanen's case)

I think the organization needs to find a way to get these guys signed long-term asap to team friendly deals.

Yup... Sparks was really good tonight. The Leafs did a great job keeping them to the outside.

Really solid game. Almost every guy on the team played a decent to above average game. Kappy was really good too. Man can he ever skate.
