Karl Taylor has been announced as the Admirals new Head Coach.

"A long-time coach in the ECHL & AHL, he's been an assistant with Texas since 2014."

i wonder who else the candidates were. don't know a lot about this guy but he seemed to be successful in the AHL and good experience to get to a game 7 of the Calder cup final this past year.

The Admirals have not had a lot of success against Texas in recent seasons. I assume that Taylor is one of the reasons why this has been true. He also spent some time with the dreaded Chicago Wolves organization before Texas.
