Well, to be honest I've never paid any attention to this tournament, which is the first of three stages of the "Euro Hockey Tour". But given the number of NHL players taking part in it, this is probably going to be the best Karjala Cup ever.

I was surprised to see Prucha there. He is on the 4th line for Paradubice because of the NHl'ers in Europe. But since he one of the the best czech players in that tournament (where his stcok went flying) I read he would be on this roster even if he wasnt playing great in his limited role this season.

Sweden are impressing at all levels at the moment. Three wins in the U20 tournament in Sweden, and two wins so far in Karjala. It was a long time ago Sweden's future looked so bright. The A-team is also very young, and the players should be there for almot another 10 years. Sweden is on the rise
