Maybe the duo aspect make it less strange how similar those 4 goal scoring pace was from 94-95 to 2000-2001

The Doom line peaked higher to me, because of Lindros.

2 ross/hart threats vs 1. Lindros might be the best player, but Kariya and Selanne are both way better than LeClair.

Gotta go with the big boys.

Lindros was peaked the highest, and the Philly players brought an element of intimidating physicality in addition to their high end offense.

At their peak Kariya>Lindros>Selanne>>LeClair
When Kariya was inducted into the hall of fame he said he wouldn't have made it to the hall of fame if he didn't play with Selanne. Selanne on the other hand didn't say that about Kariya, since he knew he would've made the hall of fame anyway.

FWIW his stats tanked when he left Anaheim and stopped playing with Kariya :dunno:

(yes, he was great in Winnipeg and certainly had HOF talent, but well never know if he scores as much and gets the same recognition if he stayed on the Jets and played some of his prime in Arizona)

His prime was ruined by injuries.

He got himself fixed during the lockout and came back with back to back 90 point seasons at 35y& 36y and had an insane 80 in 73 40y old season where he was top10 in scoring I believe?

Eric Lindros broke into this league like a horde of Vikings sacking a seaside village. Every other village knew he was coming for them and they were all powerless. That guy was so dominant before the concussions that it literally changed the game for about 10 years.

Lindros won a Hart trophy and had a MUCH higher PPG before his brain got fried. His peak is much higher than Kariya’s.
Hart trophy doesnt mean a shit. And it was a lockout season when Lemieux was injured. Put Lindros in the 90’s Ducks and see how he would have done then. Kariya and Selanne made a playoff team of a team that was top 3 worst innthe league

Quite close but id take the Flyers, maybe cause Lindros was my fav player growing up but I truly believe he is the best of this bunch and it's not very close for peak but on the other hand LeClair is the worst so y.

A really hard pick! Great poll.
I went with the Ducks..........
But on further reflection, I do not know .... LeClair is as someone wrote really underestimated, was a great goal scorer especially in Philadelphia, Lindros prime I think overshadows Kariya and Selänne.
Lindros was hyped, but also incredibly good for many years.
Gaah .... on the other hand I love Selänne's and not least Kariya's extremely high speed and acceleration, someone said that it was as if they each had a jet engine in their ass.
Great times, great players!

I was a big fan of Selanne and Kariya but I went with Lindros/Leclair because in his prime Lindros was a machine unlike any other player in the league.

Lindros was the most dominant of this group and he’s the only center here so I’d say Lindros and Leclair. People forget how good a scorer Leclair was in his prime.
