Kravtsov is already close to the NHL at 19 and his 18 year old season was better. It’s Kaprizov until either of the other two give any indication that it should be them.

I know development isn't linear and all that and there's certainly an argument for Kaprizov, but at the very least, it's unfair to say that Kravtsov has given no indication of a being a better prospect.
With 21 points in 50 games, Kravtsov was a close second on his team in PPG.Kravtsov’s 8 goals and 21 points in 50 KHL is better than Kaprizov’s 11 goals and 27 points in 53 KHL games?
That’s interesting.

He was asked to carry one of the most offensively inept teams in pro hockey history at 18.
They were a better offensive team than the team Kravtsov was just on, as are most junior teams.Sorry, do you think Kaprizov was getting top line minutes with CSKA during his campaign? Metallurg finished dead last in the standings and scored the fifth least amount of goals.
It’s Kaprizov.

Man, it’s still Kaprizov. His team scoring 20 more goals than Kravtsov’s doesn’t take away from the fact that Kaprizov was, and is, a better player.
Because not only did Kaprizov outscore him at that same age, but he went on to take multiple huge steps forward, and is now one of the best players not in the NHL. The only argument for Kravtsov at this point is “he’s younger, so maybe he’ll also do what Kaprizov has already done with improving, but do it better.”
All signs currently point to him playing in Minnesota next year. What's the current situation for Kaprizov coming over? Is it still likely next year? I agree he's the most valuable player in a vacuum but he needs to be in the NHL for that to be realized.
