I mean one of the two will probably end up traded. Maybe not during the season but one of them is going to be traded by the off season so this isn't really just two random players that could go if the right deal comes along.

He's a good sweetner ? Ppg AHL player . He's not highly regarded. There's no room for him on the leafs he's not a 4th line winger , and the leafs don't need any top 6 players

It's worth noting that the Leafs offered Kapanen (and Brown) for Pesce in the offseason, per LeBrun. "Good enough" likely means an asset class or two up. I don't think the market cooperates on that one; a complimentary winger is not something worth overpaying for.

He's someone that excels on the PP and there is no room for him on Toronto in that role. He also can only play RW due to his style and we have Marner, Nylander, and Kapanen on the RW. He'd be wasted as a 10 minute a night even strength player. If, big if, he excels in the NHL it'll be in a PP role.

So was Brayden Schenn...when the Kings were looking to add a piece to their current run.

Not that Brayden is any way similar... at all. But to act like a player is not "highly regarded" or has value..simply because they are available or being shopped in trade - is odd.
