Not a Blazers fan, but not sure what the point in naming Minten captain is. You either name him captain just to trade him for assets two months later, or this signals they're not trading him which would be an incredibly dumb decision.

I mean Rhett Melnyk was named captain and was already traded. Eventually he will be, and Bairos will be captain.

A big 4-3 win in a SO against Red Deer. They are 3-1-0 in their past 4, 15 GF 11 GA against some pretty formidable teams. After a slow start, Ernst is 2-1-0 with a 2.33 GAA .916 save percentage.

Getting Kai Matthew is pretty big. Was supposed to go in the 1st round in 2020, but because of his commitments to Denver he went in the 5th round.

I believe having such a high ranking in the CHL Import Draft, I don't see 1 or both Euro returning next season. The 16 year olds will replace a couple of the 17 year olds that aren't cutting it.
