A reminder to Bryson and Stillman that they still have a lot of work to do.

Clague has played well lately. Three points in the last two games.

I'm curious to know (but not enough to try to research it myself) just how much money did his one or two days on the roster make for him over what he would have gotten in Rochester.

His AHL salary is a robust $475,000 so his day's work would be at his $775,000 NHL rate.

Not sure how they amortize the salaries (ie 365 days, or more likely based on season length)...

He will get a marginal increase of gross salary for the one day somewhere between:
$821.92 (365 days) and $1,639.34 (183 days, length of the regular season - the shortest possible basis for the calculation). This is all subject to escrow of course.

Edit: Thanks to MarkusKetterer (and my 10 key), we can safely say that he received an extra ~$1640 for the callup.

It’s divided by 183 days. So the entire length of the regular season.
