Kakko is playing fine, but he really needs to spend the next off season on his shooting. 1000 shots per day and maybe he will then have the confidence to shoot and will be a big threat.

Probably because he is a goalie and they are streaky while Kakko is a top prospect forward who still has a lot of developing to do.

Roger that. That is making very much sense i assume. There are still many goalies that aint sticky like Rask, Lundqvist. Im pretty sure Goalie Kaapo will be great for the next 10 years. Striker Kaapo will also probably be really good in the future. He has potential that is very sure likely. But you are making a good point out there!

Right now the goalie. Longer term probably the winger but neither is anywhere near a sure thing in the future.

Kakko without hesitation, an average starter wouldn't be worth his potential and that's pretty much the ceiling Kähkönen has.

What has determined that to be his ceiling? Goalies are the hardest players to project, so I really don’t think a ceiling can be placed on their potential.

It usually can. People said the same types of things about Georgiyev when he entered the league. He’s settled into being an okay back up. I think Kahkonen can be better than that, but this idea that goalies are so unpredictable isn’t all that correct. They may be unpredictable at 18. You should have a pretty good idea how good Kahkonen is and what his potential is. Most suggest he’s a 1B/2A type of goalie. That’s probably what he becomes.

Kähkönen sounds nothing like Kakko and they only share one letter, k.
