I went with 20-30 but wish I could have done 25-35. Last year was abysmal for him offensively, but he was slung around the pairings like crazy. With him finally having a set position in the lineup I can see him finally getting comfortable. I'm more worried about his defensive game than his offense.if he could be just average or maybe a little better than average I think we're fine.

What is you predict Faulk will have point produce for up coming season when there is 56GP?

Please keep this thread clean no bashing. Thanks.

I picked 20-30, but I think it could be more depending on how much PP time he gets. He may get more than we expect if injuries occur.

I think he is good for 20+ points. I may even have gone with 30+ if it was a longer season. Like others have suggested, it depends on how much PP time he gets. Sometimes I wonder if the Blues plan was to acquire Faulk and somehow turn him into a two-way all-purpose player. This would explain why Berube keeps putting him on the PK. If I am right, I really question the wisdom of this venture. It does not make any sense to me to acquire and commit to a PP specialist and then not give him ample PP minutes.

I dont know. I assume Faulk will be playing 2and PP unite, but we dont know is Parayko or Dunn better option for there?

I think Krug is getting 1st PP and we run it with one dmen, Perron in the left side.

I'm gonna be a little optimistic and say he gets 20-25, which would be like 30-35 over a full 82 game season...basically back to around where he was in Carolina.

In a full year, I’d say between 27 - 35 points.

In 50-something games, maybe he eclipses 20.

I just want him to play a solid d game. That’s all I ask.
He has never done that before in his career, so why would you expect him to start now? On the bright side, he can still contribute significantly to the offense, and probably won't be a liability if he is paired with the right partner.

I’m not asking for him to be an elite DMAN, just play the position good. I’ll take a meat and potatoes approach with him because as it stands, I just can’t see why we paid as much as we did for him.

The more I see him play the more I feel like he’s a bottom six Forward, not a real Dman.

Saying that, he’s done a few things that have made me go “Now that’s more like it!”. Just want to see more of that.

Well if he was used all season in every pair mix and even Pietro or Parayko couldn't carry him. What is different now?

Faulk fans need to accept he isnt top4 dmen. Take 2-3mill.$ away in his contract and were fine with him on 3rd pair.

Overally I view his style just doesnt fit in this team. Too low hockey IQ defensively.

Yes Canes fans so right about him. They didnt bash that joker for nothing.

56 game season I see 15- 20 maybe 25 points. Longer 82 game season then 25 - 30 points maybe even 35+ all depends on how much PP time he gets.

I feel like when it comes to our D we suddenly got too many players who need sheltering or a much stronger partner.

For what the Blues are paying I either expect better or save some coin and ice more kids in this squad.

Not bashing Faulk, I’m genuinely confused. If he’s not much of a Dman and scores ~<30 points a season, why did we sign him to a big money contract AND lose Bokk?

Yeah. I guess I'm a little too optimistic considering his contract. He's just not a good fit and I'm not bashing him.

If he gets spoon fed PP time I’d imagine he would get back close to his 35-ish points over 82 games, which would be about 24 over this season. If Krug/Dunn/Parayko eat into the PP time then I’d say under 20.

Changed my vote to 10-20 because of the shortened season but I could see up to 25 points.

Points aside I think Faulk will be much better this year without a certain someone being shocked that he was traded for and signed looming over him.
