I don't know if you think Skinner is worth his current contract but $5.725 mil is the same percentage of cap when he signed that deal as $7 mil is now.

Fair enough. But living life as a fan of a floor team can certainly skew the viewpoint of AAV when your big guns are making 6mil or less.

I am thankful Bill Peters is not our coach anymore, this 3 year deal with Ryan would of likely happened in Carolina if he's still here.

Though I have to congratulate Derek Ryan! He has worked ass to get here in the NHL and it took until the age of 29 for him to make an NHL roster. What a story of persistence! Congrats to Ryan on that 3 year deal, that must be huge for him.
