Below are Peterson gifs from Friday's 6-3 comeback win vs Alaska-Fairbanks. Slow start, as the first two shifts for both Borgen and Peterson included lost d-zone draws and a GA. Peterson broke his stick on the second one and was coming from the bench as the puck got turned over after the initial zone exit.
Third GA was scored by a guy sprung from the penalty box, as Peterson's unit changed.
His secondary assists included some good cycle and vision respectively:

St. Cloud State is undefeated and jumped to as high as No. 2 in one of the national college hockey polls. But that's doesn't necessarily have the Huskies coach Bob Motzko all that excited. "It's coach talk, but we won some games, and it hasn't been pretty," Motzko said. His praise isn't nearly as measured when talking about senior foward Judd Peterson - a Buffalo Sabres prospect.
Judd Peterson had two assists in the Huskies' 6-3 win over Alaska on Friday then set up the game-winning goal on Saturday to help his team earn the series sweep.
"The big thing for Judd is he's healthy again," Motzko said. "Last year, around Christmas, Judd had an injury that we couldn't talk about. It was one of those things where he could rehab in the summer so he played the rest of the year with an injury and it was misery. He was on the misery ship. That wears you down mentally.
"He had surgery weeks after the season ended and he's a new guy. It's like having Judd back. He scored 16 goals his sophomore season and it's like he's back again. He trains hard. He's really getting his strength back to a top level. You see Judd continue to get stronger and play with more confidence. He can play center or wing. We have him at center and he can play against anybody. Most importantly, he's a captain and has the respect of everyone in our locker room."
The Huskies will host No. 13 Boston College this weekend - Friday, October 20 and Saturday, October 21.
Boston College features two Sabres prospects - Christopher Brown and Casey Fitzgerald.

Peterson was +1 with an assist, one slashing minor, and 2 SOG in SCSU's 5-2 win over BC on Friday night. His gifs below start with bumping Brown off the puck and escaping Fitzgerald before trying a centering pass:

It was a much quieter game from Peterson in Saturday's 3-1 win over BC, with just one non-threatening SOG taken from his knees. Nothing really negative to add either. He won many draws, like 8 of 9 or 10 good, at times in both weekend games and takes many of the important faceoffs, playing in all situations.
Friday's Game - St. Cloud State 5 Minnesota-Duluth 3. Both Judd Peterson and Will Borgen had an assist. Judd Peterson assist was on the fifth Huskie goal which was an empty-netter scored by Jimmy Schuldt. Will Borgen assist was on the second Huskie goal that tied the game late in the second period. The goal was scored by Ryan Poehling.
Aside from the one assist - Peterson had one shot on goal which happened in the third period - was a +1 and was 7 of 13 on face-offs. Aside from the one assist - Borgen had three shots on goal - one in each period and was a +1.
Both Peterson and Borgen both had a penalty in the game which happened back to back early in the second period with Borgens happening exactly a minute after Peterson was released from the box. Peterson penalty was a two minute hooking call while Borgens penalty was a five-minute interference call. St. Cloud State killed off both penalties.

Also, refs disallowed this goal after review in Friday's contest that Peterson would've been in on:
Maybe even more like "Cyclone project", but that's the sort of thing I wonder at too. At least Judd wins draws and plays a smart, engaged game which I question in some other current Cyclone/Amerk guys.
