Josi

I dont think any of them elevate themselves enough to be better than Josi is right now

If this was 2019 id take Hedman but I think Josi has stolen the crown for best defenseman in the league

Also how do you vote?

Hedman. All great regular season performers but he's put up multiple monster playoff runs while the others have done basically nothing.

I think I take Hedman here. Dude is just money either in the regular season or playoffs. The fact that this poll is for the playoffs makes it a no brainer for me.

the second half fox's season he hasn't looked the same. i'd put him at #4, #5 if you had makar in the poll.

Maybe it's just the last game or two but his play seems to have been trending up lately. Plus, we as Rangers fans know about every guy who is struggling on our team. For all you know one or more of those guys is struggling right now as well.

Certainly not Fox, but he’s been injured for half the season, so it’s like the write-off season for Hedman last year.

Hedman for me.

Hedman. Still the best overall D in the NHL and a proven playoff performer.

I don't know if he's still the best overall D in the NHL - others are rising to challenge him to be honest.

But he is a proven playoff beast - and that's the differentiator here for me.
