Not really. Jooris was great in his first season with the Flames. The following year, he was mediocre at best. The drive he had was gone. He didn't look like an NHLer.

He's been an excellent defensive player since he got into the league and from what Flames fans have said he's been scratched for "more physical" players because that's what Hartley wanted, which is laughable.

He was excellent in that first season. I wasn't all that impressed with last season. I'd have played him ahead of Bollig, but that's about it. Hopefully he'll bounce back to that previous form he showed.
